Well, to one of my websites. As a partner in the consulting company, We Love Children's Books, one of my daily tasks is to build and maintain websites for authors, publishers and others in the children's book industry.

After 15 years in the industry, I decided I wanted to work for myself and consulting seemed an obvious choice because I've done so very many things:

• manager of two independent children's bookstores
• children's buyer and sales/marketing director at a book distributor
• publicity assistant
• children's book reviewer
• co-owner of a small niche publisher, Two Lives Publishing

Throughout all of my jobs, I've never let go of the dream I've had since I was a little girl - to be a writer of books for children. Here you can find out about the first two, and hopefully next time you visit there will be a few more!
